SalSon Technology & Freight Tracking

SalSon has invested in tier-one systems to manage each function within our port to store shelf logistics solution. Data from all systems is fed into our SalSon portal and will soon be available to you in ONE user friendly tool – My SalSon – which is viewable from your desktop or mobile device. SalSon Systems

Below are just some of the tools that SalSon uses to manage your inventory and deliveries:

• TMW TMS. This tier one transportation management software handles shipment planning and execution, fleet dispatch and fleet management. It makes sure your routes are optimized, automates routine processes and alerts us – and you – to exceptions before they turn into bigger problems.
• High Jump WMS. We use High Jump’s advanced warehouse management module to manage inventory and drive supply chain responsiveness, performance and efficiency in the warehouse.
• PINC. We use this #1-rated yard management system to gain visibility and manage gate, dock, yard and network operations more efficiently – and give you visibility to your freight in real time.
• Babaco. We use Babaco locks on all SalSon trucks to ensure the security of your cargo. Electronic signals are sent out every time a lock is tampered with so we can know of any in-transit security breaches.
• Profit Tools. We use this tool to efficiently manage dispatch and our fleet assets.

MySalSon is your view into your inventory – in our yard, warehouse or a moving truck.

Our two new freight tracking apps – one for our drivers, and one for customers – were developed by SalSon to give you a real-time view of your supply chain, right from your mobile device. Here are some of the things you can do with the tool:

• Get alerts on your PC or mobile device.
• Drill down on alerts to track a specific truck or container and get details on current status.
• Access shipping documents.
• Watch your truck in real time as it moves to its destination.
